How does the hire work?
You hire a ready-to-go unit for $100 per week (inc GST), plus a $50 deposit that is fully refunded when you return the unit safely. If you are in the Moreton Bay region I deliver and help you get it set up at no extra cost; anywhere else in Australia I post it for a flat $20 (inc GST) that covers postage to you and the return postage back. Either way the unit is pre-configured, so you plug it in, point it toward the noise, and let it run. When you are finished I generate your evidence report from the data it has collected. The report shows when the barking happened and how often: an hour-by-hour distribution, daily sparklines so a pattern stands out at a glance, and a full incident log with timestamps. How does it tell the target dog apart from other dogs and noises?
When the unit detects a bark, you confirm the ones that belong to the dog causing the problem. From those taps it builds an acoustic fingerprint of that particular dog and matches new barks against it, so a dog two streets over or a passing truck does not get counted as your neighbour's dog. It also notes other sounds happening at the same time, which often points to what is triggering the barking.
What happens to the recordings and my privacy?
All detection and learning happens locally on the device. Audio is processed on the unit and recordings stay on it; nothing is uploaded to a cloud service or shared with anyone. You install the interface as an app on your phone to review and confirm events over your own home network. The website itself only collects what you send through a hire enquiry, and we never sell your data.
